Hyperion Core has developed a microarchitecture that uses a homogeneous array of processing elements. This allows dynamic switching between CPU and GPU workloads and reduces the “housekeeping” overhead for out-of-order processing and achieving performance improvement by several magnitudes per transistor. The homogeneous array design scales easily – from lightbulb to HPC. Hyperion Core’s microarchitecture is more cost-effective and smaller in chip size, addressing the hardware complexity and cost challenges while allowing for true universal compute.
